This gorgeous real pearl bracelet has white coin pearls with black Pyrite gemstone discs. I have accented it with tiny round 14K gold-filled beads and toggle clasp I'm sure it will be one of your favorites for years to come!
When I saw these black pyrite disc beads, I knew they would be perfect paired with some of my white coin pearls. I call this bracelet "Eclipse" because the genuine cultured pearls remind me of moons, and the dark black beads with gold pyrite veining look like dark moons -- like a total eclipse of the moon. Pyrite is what is commonly known as "fools gold". These pyrite beads are mostly black with gold veining and flecks. They are very beautiful.
These pearls are genuine cultured freshwater pearls. These pearls I purchased myself in Suzhou, China. When I import my own pearls, I get to choose them instead of ordering out of a catalog and hoping that I get good ones. This way I can offer a good quality of pearls for the price.
In keeping with the round moon theme, I went with all round here - including the little round gold-filled beads and the round gold-filled toggle clasp. Gold-filled items are always a better value than gold-plated. They are an affordable alternative to solid gold. If you care for them properly (by not using harsh cleaners, etc.) gold-filled items should last a lifetime.
This bracelet is a one-of-a-kind (OOAK) because I don't have any more pyrite beads and the shop I got them from went out of business. (I thought about not listing this and keeping it for myself, but it's too big for me.)
