This beautiful handmade real pearl bracelet is one of a kind (OOAK). It has shimmery sky blue glass beads, genuine white cultured pearls, and sterling silver saucer beads. I finished it off with a sterling silver toggle clasp.
The stunning foil beads are the star of this bracelet. I think they are called Murano foil beads. They are cylindrical shaped and made of glass. All the color is inside so it won't wear off. They have a shimmery pastel blue lining with a darker blue stripe going around them, like a barbershop pole. I did not make these beads, but as far as I know, the effect is made by a layer of actual silver or white gold inside the bead.
The white pearls are genuine cultured freshwater. They are fairly large, 8-9 mm, with a nice luster. They do have some grooves in them, but that is one way you can tell they are real. The pearls are what I call near-round, they are slightly elliptical. I picked out these pearls myself while I was in China.
The saucer-shaped beads are sterling silver, as is the smooth, round toggle clasp.
