Luminous is the best way to describe this elaborate statement necklace handmade of real baroque freshwater pearls, ametrine, and glass dangles. It doesn't sparkle, but it does have a very nice luster. It was inspired by the peaches and purples of daybreak over the beach in the South Pacific. I call it Daybreak and it is truly one of a kind (OOAK). Daybreak would make a wonderful bridal necklace. Perfect for a beach wedding, but it would look great at any wedding.

This necklace has a total of 90 genuine pearls (4 different kinds of cultured freshwater pearls), bi-cone iridescent glass beads, and faceted ametrine roundels. I also threw in some sterling silver daisy spacer beads. I wrapped each dangle by hand with sterling silver pins. It took hours, but the end result is stunning!

The necklace is strung on very strong, flexible beading wire made from 49 tiny strands of steel. It is made to last. The necklace is approximately 16" long. It has a sterling silver Bali hook clasp with a 2" long extender chain finished off with a pearl and a fire-polished glass bead. Perfect for a bride or any elegant occasion.

Pearls are the birthstone for the month of June and, as we all know, are also associated with brides. Ametrine is a variety of quartz that is a mixture of amethyst and citrine. It ranges in color from purple to yellow. This ametrine is a light lavender color.

This necklace will be someone's family heirloom.

The last picture shows my inspiration - a beach in the Philippines where we vacationed once.
