Frog Bracelet, Fused Glass

This handmade frog bracelet made out of fused glass links is so cute! Each link has a little green frog on a yellow background. They don't all face the same direction because I wanted it to look like they are hopping all over the bracelet! This is my own original design. The perfect piece of jewelry for any amphibian lover!

I make the glass by firing the little frogs in between 2 layers of glass at high temperatures. These little frogs require two firings. With each firing I properly anneal (cool) the glass to give it durability and strength. Because these links are handmade, they will not be exactly alike. There will be small differences in each one. It is also not unusual to have small bubbles or imperfections in the glass.

The last picture is a different bracelet, but it shows you what the back looks like.

After they are cooled, the little frog cabochons are then glued on to the bracelet links. The links are rhodium plated steel.

The glass itself is approximately 1/4" (6 mm) thick so it is pretty sturdy. This bracelet is 7 1/4" (18 cm) long. If you need an extra link I will add it at no extra charge just let me know in a message at checkout. Each additional link will add almost 3/4" (19 mm) to the length.
