This handmade red and gold bracelet has big, chunky, round, foil glass beads. They are gold with some hints of red in them. I added some small, bright red roundels and gold vermeil daisy spacers. I finished it off with a 14K gold-filled toggle clasp. This is a one-of-a-kind party accessory. It would be perfect for Christmas or Chinese New Year, or anytime you're wearing red or gold.
The main feature of the bracelet is the set of six stunning gold beads. I believe these are what is called Venetian foil beads. The gold looks metallic like it was painted on the inside of the glass. They are solid glass, except for the hole that runs through the middle to string them, so they are not fragile. I bought them at a local bead store. Some are totally gold, while others have more red in them.
The red roundels are faceted, so they reflect the light. To the best of my knowledge, they are made of fire-polished glass, but they look as if they are hand-cut from stone because they are not identical. There are small variations in the sizes of the beads. The beads are a deep blood red, with a little bit of darker veining.

The bracelet is just over 7.5" (almost 20 cm) long, although it will seem slightly shorter because of the thickness of the round beads. They are approximately 12 mm in diameter.
