These cute earrings have a stamped owl on each one. They are on oval charms made of .999 fine silver. Each charm has a patina added to show the detail in the owl. I have added hand-forged Argentium sterling silver ear wires. They are the perfect gift for any owl lover, even yourself! Because they are silver, they will go with just about any outfit.
Each owl charm is individually hand-made by me in fine silver. I add a patina then polish so the darkened recessed areas make the design show up better. I finish them with a coat of jewelers wax to protect the finish.
I make my own hand-forged ear wires from Argentium sterling silver wire, although I normally make them slightly different. (See the image with the ear wire choices.) Argentium tarnishes less and is more hypoallergenic than traditional sterling.
The unique owl charms are approximately 15 mm wide by 24 mm long. The last picture shows the earrings with a dime so you can get a better idea of the size. Since each charm is individually handmade, there will be minor variations in each one; no two will be exactly alike.
